35mm love

Living in Bristol, falling in love with photography, shooting black & white 35mm film and making my own prints in the darkroom circa 1999-2001.
I would often take myself off for the day and shoot whatever I found, before spending hours in the darkroom printing, often forgetting to eat all day because I loved the process so much. I had no idea of the concept of street photography at the time but I guess that’s the closest thing to what I was doing. Looking at the pictures I made then I can still see something I like in them, despite them being naive and inconsistent.
Since I started making pictures I’ve always loved the constraints of shooting with black & white film on a basic camera with one lens, using natural light.
